Reporting Address Changes
J-1 Exchange Visitor Program for Scholars & Student Interns
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security requires J-1 Exchange visitors to report a change residential address to their program sponsor within 10 calendar days of the change. Notify International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) by submitting it at J-1 Scholar Update Address (J-1 Scholar Services). ISSS reports your new address to the Department of Homeland Security via SEVIS within 21 business days of receiving notice of the change in address.
In addition if you are an employee, update your address in the employee portal.
If you are not an employee, notify the Human Resources Business Partner in your unit.
