The Listserv System

OIT maintains a bulk mailing system, commonly referred to as a listserv. This system is designed for bulk email messaging to more than 500 unique email addresses. Departments and staff also can maintain their own custom lists. 

To request a listserv or access to send from a current listserv, visit https://oitselfservice.ucdenver.eduYou must be connected to the university network to request access to a listserv. Be sure to connect to the GlobalProtect VPN prior to clicking on Request a Distribution List or Listserv. Emergency Alerts

All CU Denver | Anschutz students, faculty and staff are automatically registered to receive emergency alerts to their university-issued  e-mail addresses. More information about this process is available on the CU Denver university police alerts webpage or the CU Anschutz university police alerts webpage.

CU eComm Program

The CU eComm program offers a suite of Salesforce applications which includes Marketing Cloud for campuswide email messaging. The eComm program is the preferred platform for marketing communication at the university. More information about guidelines for the eComm program is available at

Managing Campuswide Listservs

Following are some of the campus listservs that faculty, students and staff can opt-in or opt-out of receiving emails. To manage your listserv subscriptions:

  1. Click subscribe or unsubscribe next to the appropriate list
  2. When an email window pops up, simply hit send (don’t edit the email)
  3. You will receive a confirmation email
Email Listservs
This list is used to announce academic events for faculty and staff on the Anschutz campus and is managed by the School of Medicine Dean's Office.
This list is used to announce general "social" events on the university campus, as well as promotional announcements or special projects.
This list is used to convey information about general administrative issues, such as changes in fiscal rules and policies.
This list is used to announce a variety of employment related issues, including policy updates, retirement planning, employment opportunities, and Staff Council announcements.
Facilities CU Anschutz
This list is used to announce utility outages, parking updates, construction disruptions, and other information related to the Anschutz Medical Campus.
This list is used to make general announcements for a variety of subjects for which no specific list has been created.
This list is used to announce issues having significant, campuswide impact. Subscription to this list is mandatory for all CU Denver | CU Anschutz employees.

This list is used to announce training opportunities from university departments and schools.
