Testing Information

Testing is very important to help reduce the spread of COVID-19

Testing Locations

You can schedule COVID-19 test appointments at the Health Center at Auraria. Additionally, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment does have a list of FREE testing locations on their website.

Other sites for testing may be available through your healthcare provider.

FREE rapid test kits may be available at the Lynx Central Main Desk in the Student Commons building.

COVID-19 Self-Reporting Protocol

Currently it is not required to self-report a positive diagnosis or exposure on campus.

If you are sick, please do not come to campus.

If you are positive or exposed to COVID-19, you can use the CDC Isolation and Exposure Calculator to help determine how long to isolate.

If you are sick, but unsure if you are positive for COVID-19, please seek a test as soon as possible.

Treatments Available for Individuals Sick With COVID-19

If you test positive or think you might have COVID-19, you may be able to get treatment to help you recover. Treatment works best if it’s taken within a few days of when you first started experiencing symptoms.

Notifying Close Contacts After Testing Positive

If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19 you should notify your close contacts of an exposure.

A close contact is someone who was less than 6 feet from you for more than 15 minutes or more in the 2 days leading up to feeling sick.

Visit the CDC website for more information.
