LynxFest is a fall weekend of fun events to recognize student achievement, bring families to campus, feature student life, and see first-hand CU Denver's impact in the City of Denver. We invite you to celebrate CU in the City with activities, city tours, and campus highlights. *LynxFest will not be happening for the 2020-2021 academic year.*
Family & Guests Orientation is held at the same time as New Student Orientation. Family members and guests hear from university staff and current students about the ways they can partner with the university to support their student’s transition to college and academic success.
We welcome and strongly encourage family members and guests to attend Family & Guests Orientation to learn about how to get involved at CU Denver.
Reservations for Family & Guests Orientation should be submitted at the same time students complete their New Student Orientation reservation.Your student will be able to sign up a maximum of two guests on their reservation through the application status web page, when they select their orientation date. Due to limited space, we regret that we can only accommodate two guests per student.
Parent & Family Orientation Modules
The Parent & Family Orientation Modules are a great supplement to orientation! If you're unable to attend one of our orientation sessions or would like to revisit information afterwards, the modules are for you. We welcome and strongly encourage family and other members of the student's support team to engage with the orientation process. Our goal is to provide easily accessible information giving them the tools they need to help their students navigate their new CU Denver home.
