As part of ongoing efforts to improve user experience and enhance IT security, the Identity Management team will be migrating a key system to the cloud from May 20 to 23. There is no impact expected for existing university users, though new student and employee accounts assigned during this time will be created after this maintenance window. ISS and OIT are working with multiple departments and vendors campuswide to implement this migration quickly and effectively. Please contact the OIT Service Desk at 303-724-4357 if you encounter any issues.
Learn MoreStudents on the University of Colorado Denver campus can request an Adobe Creative Cloud or Adobe Express license for coursework at no cost.
Specific schools and departments will be automatically enrolling students who are required to use Adobe Creative Cloud with a license. Those schools and departments will distribute the Creative Cloud licenses accordingly. These licenses will be active from the first week in August through July 31 each year. They will not renew.
* If you have an Adobe license, you will lose access to your current account on August 1, 2025. Any students' data stored in the Adobe Creative Cloud will be lost. This applies to current and graduating students. If you have a Creative Cloud account, please back up your data from Adobe Creative Cloud by July 31, 2025, to prevent data loss.
We strongly recommend backing your files up to the university-provided OneDrive for Business.
For student employees and work studies, if a student requires the full Adobe Creative Cloud and is not enrolled in a course that requires it, they will need a sponsoring department to submit a request through the faculty and staff webpage and provide a SpeedType for the $65 annual fee (July 1 through June 30.) The department and/or center is responsible for managing the license and opting out of renewal when the student leaves their position or no longer requires the software.
Students are required to be enrolled in the semester to receive any of the Adobe licenses.

Adobe Creative Cloud is available to students who are enrolled in courses that require it as part of their program with specific schools or departments at no cost to the student.
