The university’s virtual meeting room and video conferencing collaboration tool available to all faculty, students and staff has some new features! A new University of Colorado systemwide HIPAA agreement with Zoom has allowed OIT to enable some previously disabled features including:
- Record to the Zoom cloud for convenient sharing and storage (Zoom Cloud Recording)
- Meeting participant / class attendance reports available (Zoom Reports)
- Chat copy and paste enabled (Saving in-meeting chat)
Be sure to continue to keep the security and privacy of patient data subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)-protected student information in mind – data privacy is everyone’s responsibility.
