OIT has several in-progress initiatives that you can read more about on our news webpages including:

• Migration of emails and websites to a new CUAnschutz.edu domain. The CUAnschutz.edu email project page contains more information about the project and frequently asked questions. The project support page outlines steps to take if you are receiving a new email address, Microsoft Outlook instructions, downloadable how-to documents and instructions for continuity of service with Concur and TripIt for those that use the software.
• Introduction of multi-factor authentication to better manage the security of our personal and university data. Multi-factor authentication has been implemented with the rollout of our new VPN service and the project team is currently working on MFA with our virtual desktop system.
• New strategic planning processes to work with our partners to create a shared vision for the future with a focus on technology strategies and goals essential to university success. The Planning, Strategy and Analysis team is conducting facilitated workshops with representatives across both campuses to help inform the strategic initiative. More information will be available this summer.
• Transition planning efforts to assist with the migration of Windows 7 users to a new operating system before Microsoft support of the operating system ends. A project page will be available beginning next month to provide more information and support as Windows 7 users make decisions about how to best move forward with a new operating system – whether it is simply upgrading your software or purchasing a new device.
