Important Update from Zoom – No Mandatory Requirements beginning September 27Sep 23, 2020
Last month, OIT shared that software vendor Zoom planned to require security features - including a waiting room or passcode - for all new and existing faculty, student and staff meetings. On Sunday, September 20, Zoom shifted the decision to require these features based on feedback they received from customers. Per Zoom, they “will no longer be enforcing a mandatory security requirement for your account on September 27, 2020, or at any point thereafter.”
