Each student is responsible for submitting a complete EURēCA! Grant application. This includes the online application and uploaded letter of support (Preview Full Application).
For team projects, teams should submit one application. Student details, unofficial transcripts, and personal development goals are required for each team member.
Application for Project-based Proposals:

- Development Goals (One 250 word statement per team member)
- Additional Student Applicant Details and Transcripts (for team applications)
- Project Description (500 - 750 words, see requirements in application, View Examples)
- Objective (100-150 words)
- Significance (150-175)
- Approach (100-150 words)
- Analysis/Outcomes & Interpretation (100-150 words)
- Bibliography (3-5 cited scholarly sources)
- Project Timeline (specific dates)
- Budget Detail (up to $500 for individual, $1,500 for team)
- Faculty Mentor Letter of Support
- If applicable, confirmation of IACUC and/or COMIRB approval
Application for Conference Attendance:

Students must obtain a letter of support from your faculty mentor and upload to the application. Applications will not be considered complete without this letter of support.
The letter could include the following:
- assessment of proposed research, creative, or scholarly activity
- description of how the activity contributes to student(s)'s professional development
- assessment of student(s)'s academic preparation
- clarification of role as mentor
Student Disclosure of AI Use: If students use artificial intelligence in the creation of their proposal, they must indicate the following:
- The AI system's name
- The strategy for usage (edit grammar, generate ideas, etc)
- Prompts used
- A list of specific sections containing AI-derived text or ideas
