Faculty Information

Supporting Undergraduate Scholarly Activities

An important aspect of undergraduate research is mentoring by a faculty member experienced in discipline-specific research or creative methodology. Whether the UROP project is initiated by the student or faculty, it's important that a UROP student work closely with the faculty mentor to define realistic goals and a time-frame for the project, and get faculty support during preparation of the student's final report.
