Well-planned, supervised, and assessed experiential learning programs, including internships, can stimulate academic inquiry by promoting interdisciplinary learning, civic engagement, career development, cultural awareness, leadership, and other professional and intellectual skills.
Benefits of Experiential Learning
We're Members of Professional Regional and National Organizations
The Experiential Learning Center (ELC) team consists of professional staff and student staff who are eager to assist students, faculty, and employers in reaching their experiential learning goals. All professional staff have years of education and experience as career counselors, coaches, and advisors from different backgrounds.
We support internships here in the ELC by assigning certain majors to specific internship advisors. Learn who you'll be working with.
If this is your first time visiting us, you'll be asked to attend one of our daily internship workshops. You will then make a one on one coaching appointment with your internship advisor through our online system Handshake.Senior Internship Advisor/Coordinator Pronouns: he, him, his 303-315-4000 paul.worthman@ucdenver.edu
