Our priority is ensuring students have a thorough understanding of their education benefits. We're here to help!
As of Aug 1, 2021, students can “round out” by taking courses that are required by their degree program. Students will no longer be allowed to select courses outside of their program. Classes previously completed cannot be used to round out a student’s course load.
Under Colmery Section 107, students receiving Post 9/11 GI Bill® benefits are not eligible to receive
funding for intercampus enrollment. For more information on how to take courses at another University of Colorado campus, please make an appointment with a VMSS staff member
You may be eligible to earn credits for your military training. If you would like to have your military experience evaluated, please complete the Military Experience Form, email vmss@ucdenver.edu with your DD214 to for evaluation.

Legislation to Support Student Veterans Due to COVID-19 Extended
The Responsible Education Mitigating Options and Technical Extensions Act (REMOTE Act), was signed into law by President Biden on December 21, 2021.
The REMOTE Act extends certain COVID-19 protections for students using GI Bill® benefits. Among these, is the continuation of resident rate payments for classes that were converted to online training because of COVID-19. This protection was extended
from December 21, 2021 – June 1, 2022. Read the bill for the REMOTE Act.
Services
Students using VA Education Benefits must complete this request after their initial enrollment in a course as well as when they add, drop, or change courses.
