Approximately 80% of new college graduates will have completed one or more internships. Don’t put yourself at a disadvantage, do an internship before you graduate.

What is an Internship?

Internships provide off-campus work experience that directly relates to a your major field of study and give you the opportunity to explore the professional world. You'll develop new skills and gain valuable real-world knowledge that sets you apart from other applicants.

Internship Requirements

  • Direct relationship to a student’s field of study and/or professional goals
  • Provides integration of academic and experiential learning
  • Learning Agreement between the student, experience provider, and university that clearly outlines the roles and responsibilities of each party to ensure the integrity of the internship experience for all parties
  • Evaluation by the experience provider and student intern at the end of the internship
