Student Testimonials

photo of Isabel Sosa Lazo
CU Denver's MAT professors are committed to culturally responsive education. As I begin to have my own classroom for the first time, and see first-hand how much work goes into this profession, I am most thankful for the instructors I've had in this program. They are supportive, knowledgeable, and insistent on equity in student learning. These instructors are a breath of fresh air and a constant reminder that culturally responsive teaching is not just possible, but necessary.
