• Family hours are from open Friday until close Sunday and all day during University breaks.
• Facility and programmatic hours must be observed by patrons at all times. Hours and space availability may be altered due to University closures/breaks, inclement weather, special event reservations, building maintenance, etc.
  • Refunds will not be given for non-usage of the facility and are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Front desk staff does not have the ability to process refunds, and can only be completed in-person by a member of the professional staff.

Who can come 

Current Student Wellness Center members may purchase a family guest pass for each individual entering/ using the facility. ($10/per person)

• Exceptions: children accompanying a parent to Milo's Market or children accompanying a parent to the lactation room. 
• Individuals 5 and under will not be assessed a fee but must be accompanied at all times by the parent or legal guardian 
• Guest waivers must be signed for all guests on their first time in the facility; waivers for minors under the age of 17 years old must be signed each time they come to the facility by the parent or legal guardian and must be accompanied at all times by parent or legal guardian 
• Individuals ages 6-16 will be given a wrist band which must be worn and visible at all times while in the Student Wellness Center 
• • If an individual under the age of 17 is found not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who signed their waiver you may be asked to leave the facility for the remainder of the day 
  • Minors will have limited access to activity areas as outlined below 

• Ages 0-5: can only remain on the first and second floor in the following spaces: study lounge and study rooms, kitchen, pool (excluding the hot tub), and gaming lounge. 
  • Children may accompany those accessing the Reflection Rooms or Food Pantry. 

• Ages 6-16 :  
  • On the 1st floor: study lounge and rooms, kitchen, pool (excluding hot tub). 
  • On the 2nd floor: gaming lounge, gym courts, bouldering wall 
  • • Outdoor adventure equipment, i.e. climbing shoes, for individuals under age 17 will not be provided 
    • *Bouldering wall may only be used after given an orientation on the equipment and safety training given by WRS staff
  • On the 3rd floor: outside terrace Multi-purpose Group Ex. Rooms 
  • No one under the age of 17 may use the weight room unless they are a registered student or as part of a paid event 
  • On the 3rd floor: the movement loft is considered a fitness area and is restricted to 17 and above 
  • Children may accompany those accessing the Reflection Rooms or Milo's Market. 

• Ages 17 and up: Unrestricted  

• Equipment Checkout 
  • All equipment must be checked out by a parent/legal guardian for individuals under 17. Government-issued ID will be required to check out any equipment for guests or non-members. Members may check out equipment under their account with their Lynx card or WRS-issued card. 
  • If equipment is damaged upon return, the student or guest may be responsible for paying a fee as determined by Wellness and Recreation Services professional staff. 

• Group Fitness Classes 
  • Only individuals 17 and older 
• Intramural Sports 
  • Only members may participate in IMs and Club Sports 
• Personal Training 
  • Only provided for current SWC members 
• Climbing Competitions/Clinics 
  • Only for individuals over 17 but spectators will be allowed 
  • Exceptions may include facility rentals approved by WRS staff 
• Financial Wellness 
  • No age restrictions
