Adventure Trips

- No experience is necessary to participate in Adventure Trips; we design our trips for any level of abilities from beginners to experts.

- All essential equipment will be provided for you; personal equipment may be used if approved by the trip leader.

- Transportation will be provided for you unless stated otherwise. - Food is provided on all overnight trips, any allergies/dietary restrictions can be accommodated and should be communicated with the trip leader.

- Drugs, alcohol, and/or firearms are prohibited for the duration of the trip. Participants who violate these rules are subject to removal from the trip and transportation back to Denver will be at the participant’s expense.

- Trips and excursions are only open to CU Denver students and members unless stated otherwise.

- Participants are expected to stay for the duration of the trip, and cannot leave early or join the group late.

CU Denver Outdoor Adventures or Wellness & Recreation Services reserves the right to cancel a trip or clinic due to inclement weather, natural disasters, or extenuating circumstances. In the event a trip or clinic must be canceled, a full refund or account credit will be provided.

A full refund will be given if the participant cancels their registration one week (7 days) prior to the trip departure date. Participants will receive a credit in full amount to their account to use on other Wellness & Recreation Services. Cancellations that occur after the cancellation window will receive NO REFUND.

For any cancellations less than one week prior to the trip, participants will need physician documentation to receive a refund in the form of account credit.

From private small group guiding to large group outings, let us plan and manage the details so you can focus on the fun. We can help you plan day, weekend, or week long trips. Ideas include rock climbing, biking, backpacking, stand up paddle boarding, camping or any combination of activities are among many opportunities available right here in Colorado or beyond!
