Remote Desktop and Thin Clients

Remote desktop allows access to university resources, including your regular work desktop, shared internal files, and folders by using the full downloadable Omnissa Horizon Client or the Omnissa Horizon web client through your preferred browser. Thin Clients receive hosted desktop and application computing systems for paid subscribers at the university.

Hourly Usage Rates: 

The cost for support is calculated on an hourly basis. Services include comprehensive technical support to ensure your webinar runs smoothly. This covers setup, troubleshooting and real-time assistance during the event.

Other Available University Options

In addition, Microsoft Teams live events provide tools to schedule webinar events and manage attendee registration as well. Microsoft Teams live events are enabled for all university staff, faculty and students. Live events provide similar functionality to a Zoom Webinar and does not require any additional cost to use. Click on the Calendar in Teams and click on the down arrow next to New meeting to view the Live event option.
