The Office of Equity (OE) responds to concerns related to protected class discrimination and harassment, all forms of sexual misconduct, and/or any related retaliation. All members of the University community may report any form of prohibited. Reporting allows the OE to reach out and provided supportive measures and options, including the option to pursue an educational resolution, request further investigation, and be referred to appropriate resources. Reporting also allows the University to identify institutional risks, increase the effectiveness of its training programs, and identify the need for additional services that will protect the University community from harm. The University views reporting of prohibited conduct as fundamental to its ability to provide a campus environment that allows equal access to educational and employment opportunities.
If an individual discloses alleged misconduct to a CU employee who is a responsible employee (mandatory reporter), these individuals are required to notify the OE.
