The CU Denver Emergency Management Division, in partnership with the Auraria Campus Police Department and other campus partners, regularly hosts a variety of courses and trainings, that provide attendees with the skills, resources, and knowledge to adapt and respond to emergency situations.

CPR/First Aid

Heartsaver First Aid teaches you the basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. Heartsaver CPR teaches you the skills needed to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until EMS arrives.
This course is sponsored by Auraria Campus Emergency Management. Registration is through their website. The cost for CPR is $50. The training is held at 1200 7th Street on the Auraria Campus. More information is available here: Auraria Campus Emergency Management
