New Faculty Orientation

Hosted by the CFDA, New Faculty Orientation is packed with critical information, resources and support for new faculty at the University of Colorado Denver.  The two-day event offers tips on navigating the University system, advice on tapping resources to support teaching and research, key introductions to University contacts and, information on tenure, promotion, andInstructional, Research, and Clinical Faculty (IRC) support​.

After New Faculty Orientation it is easy to get lost in the demands of your new position. Stay in touch with other new faculty and develop the knowledge and skills to be successful in your academic career by participating in the CFDA First Year Faculty Experience and/or Faculty Mentoring Program. Both are designed to help you maximize your time, build important professional relationships, and develop your skills.
