Overview
The CFDA's Tenure-Track Faculty Professional Development Fund helps tenure-track assistant professors at CU Denver grow professionally as they work towards tenure.
Note: This fund is for tenure-track faculty on the Downtown Denver Campus only. Applications open February 13th 2026!
Round 2 Grant Deadline: March 9th, 2026 at 11:59pm
Anticipated Funding Distribution: March 30th, 2026
💡 What Can the Grant Be Used For?
Attending professional conferences or taking courses. Instructional improvement activities. Institutional improvement activities.

💡 What Cant be Funded?
Funding for departmental required expenses. Anything that could be considered a sensitive expense to the University. Anything that does not align with APS #4015 Propriety of Expenses.

Eligibility
- Must be a tenure-track assistant professor at CU Denver
- Must secure matching funds from your school or department
- Must submit the Chair/Dean/Associate Dean Form with your application

Application Deadlines 2025
- Fall Deadline: October 24th, 2025 at 11:59pm
- Spring Deadline: To be announced
You will receive a decision within two weeks of the deadline. Funds must be spent by June 30th of the current fiscal year.
