Many aspects of research and life as a scholar can be explored through our workshops, reading groups, and other activities. You are also welcome to contact a CFDA staff member or a Faculty Fellow to request an individual discussion about your research or professional goals. We routinely talk with faculty about dossier preparation, strategically planning scholarly activities, fitting scholarship into one’s life, and more.
As you prepare for the processes of tenure or promotion, the CFDA has a variety of resources that will help you to prepare your dossier and present yourself in the best light possible. We maintain a collection of outstanding dossiers that you can use as inspiration and models. Our library contains several volumes of dossier production. We are happy to read your statements and to provide feedback on your statements and dossier binders. Additionally, we offer sample dossiers related to major campus awards.
Currently, the CFDA only provides dossier support for faculty on the Denver Campus (formerly the "Downtown Campus"). Anschutz Medical Campus (AMC) faculty should seek dossier support from their departments or from AMC Faculty Affairs.
Make sure to review the Faculty Principles & Policies, Faculty Affairs Processes, and the Vice Chancellor’s Advisory Committee (VCAC) Guidelines for Dossier Preparation.
A variety of resources to help you to prepare your dossier and present yourself in the best light possible. Our dossier library is now completely online! We offer our dossier library in the office or as a guided session - we are not able to "rent" out dossiers.
