The CFDA provides programs, resources, and services that support faculty as they work toward rank advancement; grow as leaders in their departments, communities and fields; and thrive as members of the University community. The CFDA provides grants for faculty professional development opportunities, several mentoring programs, tenure and promotion support, a library of successful dossier models, dossier building support, professional development programs, and communities of practice.
Early Career Faculty Mentoring Program
The CFDA provides group mentoring for faculty members during their first three years at CU Denver.
As you prepare for the processes of promotion, tenure, or application for a major University award, we encourage you to view our collection of outstanding dossiers and dossier statements by requesting access to the Dossier Library.
The Center for Faculty Development and Advancement operates under the Office of Faculty Affairs, which provides academic leadership resources, oversees faculty processes, and organizes faculty awards/recognition events.
Associate to Full Professor Community of Practice Meeting 1
|
12:30 PM - 01:45 PM
If you are an associate professor and you might wish to apply for promotion to full within the next 5 years, this community of practice is for you! It will provide practical tips on understanding your primary unit criteria, crafting your statements, and positioning your dossier for success. More crucially, it will provide a community of other teacher-scholars with whom to share ideas, celebrate successes, and work through challenges.
For more information, please contact facilitator Dr. Sarah Hagelin (associate professor, English) or the CFDA.
