The CFDA provides programs, resources, and services that support faculty as they work toward rank advancement; grow as leaders in their departments, communities and fields; and thrive as members of the University community. The CFDA provides grants for faculty professional development opportunities, several mentoring programs, tenure and promotion support, a library of successful dossier models, dossier building support, professional development programs, and communities of practice.

New Faculty Orientation is packed with critical information, resources, and support for all new faculty at the University of Colorado Denver.
The two-day event offers tips on navigating the University system, advice on tapping resources to support teaching and research, key introductions to University contacts, panel sessions on engaging topics for example our student panel, "How Can You Help Us Succeed?"
We cover everything from tenure and promotion to what you need to know as a lecturer. At New Faculty Orientation you'll gain advice on what to expect your first year, learn about technology in our classrooms, meet your faculty support departments, and meet other new faculty. We promise - you do not want to miss this!
