Successful mentoring relationships require active and committed engagement on the part of both mentor and mentee. Each mentoring relationship is different. Mentoring needs and relationships often change over time according to developing interests, needs, time commitments, and other factors. As those relationships evolve, so do the roles and functions of the members in the relationships. • Learn about mentoring relationships from experts and highly experienced mentors.
• Identify areas where your mentor/mentee relationship could improve.
• Explore options for changing aspects of your mentoring practice to meet mentee/mentor needs.
