CU Denver Study Abroad Photo Contest
Snapshots of the Exciting Work of CU Denver Students
Share your experiences abroad to encourage others to go out into the world for adventures like yours, AND compete for prizes!

Rules & Requirements
- CU Denver students who were registered for and attended a study abroad program for Fall, Winterim, Spring, or Maymester/Summer are eligible to enter.
- All photos must be the student's original work and be submitted in high resolution (generally at least 1MB)
- There are four contest categories: CU Denver Students, Culture, Landscape, and "Wild Card".
- Each student may submit only two photos for each contest category.
- Students may only win the grand prize for one category. See prize section below.
- You are welcome to send more than eight photos if you would like to offer them for use in our publications, our website, etc. Email extra photos to study.abroad@ucdenver.edu.
- Students submitting entries to the contest must agree to the terms listed on the last page of our submission form.
Preliminary Judging
The best 20 photos for each category will be chosen by the staff at the Office of Global Education.
Final Judging
The remaining 20 photos chosen by the Office of Global Education will be posted on our Facebook page. The photos receiving the most 'likes' will win our prizes. Contestants are encouraged to share the photo with their friends on Facebook to boost their chances of winning.
Grand Prize - 1st Place for Each Category
Scratch-Off World Map OR CU Denver Hoodie.
1st, 2nd & 3rd Place for Each Category
One framed print of your winning image.
*Students are only eligible to win the grand prize for one category. If your photo receives the most likes in more than one category, the 2nd place winner for those categories will receive the grand prize. 1st place winners will still receive the grand prize for one of their images, plus a framed print of any image that got 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd place for any of our categories.
