From Belgium to Guatemala to Japan to Spain, exciting study abroad programs enable CU Denver | Anschutz learners to take a deep dive into international studies, clinical opportunities, research, and transformative experiential education. We’re keenly focused on making these programs accessible for all students, including first-generation, veterans, transfers, and students with financial needs.

Returning students tell us their study abroad experiences are “life-changing”. These experiences markedly improve students’ critical thinking and organizational skills, increase their understanding of other cultures and societies, and bring an elevated awareness of their roles as global citizens. Study abroad experiences inspire students to achieve better grades, graduate on time, and build career readiness.

Today’s employers seek job candidates with the technical knowledge and "soft skills" – problem solving, time management, cross-cultural competence – needed to succeed in current and future business environments.
