Job Description:

As Global Education Coordinator, I serve as the primary contact for students at CU Denver and Anschutz interested in going abroad. I provide advising, application guidance, and risk management support for short-term, semester, and third-party global programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating short-term faculty-led study abroad programs for CU Denver and Anschutz
  • Supporting students in selecting and applying for third-party provider programs
  • Advising independent travelers and managing program petitions
  • Providing guidance on program selection, scholarships, financial aid, and application completion
  • Supporting risk management, health and safety protocols, and emergency planning
  • Organizing and managing the biannual CU Denver Study Abroad Fair
  • Leading recruitment through outreach, classroom visits, tabling, and on-campus events
  • Maintaining partnerships with third-party providers and international host institutions

M.A., International Disaster Psychology: Trauma & Global Mental Health, University of Denver

B.A., Psychology, University of Colorado Boulder

Favorite Travel Memory:

Morning runs in Hakodate, Japan with my host sister Juna biking next to me, my host dad running, and their dog Cookie trotting along. Juna would yell “hayai” and tell me to move faster while cracking up.
