Parking & Transportation

Accessible parking is available in nearly all lots on the Auraria Campus. Parking spaces are marked and reserved for vehicles that have a state-issued or campus-issued hangtag. See requirements below:

Permit lots: an AHEC-issued permit is required

Daily-fee lots and garages: a state-issued hangtag for persons with disabilities is required

All accessible parking on campus follows the standard Auraria Campus fee schedule. Daily-fee lots require payment at the time of parking.

Campus Accessible Shuttle (CAS)

The Campus Accessible Shuttle (CAS) service provides free transportation for campus students, faculty, and staff with disabilities. Call 303-556-2001 to schedule a ride. See map for pick-up locations. 

Hours

  • Monday–Thursday: 7 a.m.– 9:45 p.m.
  • Friday: 7 a.m.–5:45 p.m.

Hours (During Break Periods)

  • Monday–Friday: 7 a.m.– 5:45 p.m. 

Students with disabilities are required to register with their institution's disability services office.  All other campus community members need to register with Parking & Transportation Services. Once registered, a campus ID decal will be issued. An ID with a decal is required to ride the CAS. All students, faculty, staff, or campus visitors with temporary disabilities may visit the Parking & Transportation Services office for short-term CAS validation.
