Boren Awards
Sep 25, 2025The Boren Awards fund U.S. undergraduates and graduates for language-intensive study in regions critical to U.S. security, excluding Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Awards support programs from 12 weeks up to one year (8 weeks for STEM students).
Eligibility:
- U.S. citizen
- Enrolled or applying to a U.S. accredited institution
- Programs outside Western Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand
