A Desk Assistant (DA) is an undergraduate or graduate student that serves as a link between full-time office staff, current residents, and potential residents. A DA is responsible for a broad range of functions for the Lynx Crossing & City Heights communities.

Resident Assistant

Resident Assistants (RAs) in the University of Colorado Denver’s Office of Housing & Dining are student staff members who live in the residence halls and directly support students living on-campus in their residential experience. RAs plan and implement developmental initiatives and events, regularly connect with residents in one-on-one and group settings, and overall assist with the day-to-day operations of the residence halls. In addition, RAs maintain a safe and inclusive community through upholding residential policies and responding to incidents and emergencies.

Summer Housing Assistant

A Summer Housing Assistant (SHA) is an undergraduate or graduate student that serves as a link between full time office staff, summer interns, conference participants, and residents. The SHA is responsible for a broad range of functions in the Lynx Crossing and City Heights communities.
