Choose your conversation partner - Tune everything else out

Google is bringing a Beta version of  Conversation Mode to its Pixel line of smartphones. The feature will be included as a part of its December "feature drop" update. Feature drops are Google's way of bringing features to users without the need to wait for the yearly operating system update cycle. They generally occur every few months as an add-on to the monthly security updates that Google provides. 

Conversation mode is an enhancement to Google sound amplifier accessibility tool. It enables the user to point the phones camera towards a conversation partner in a loud environment to amplify their voice while tuning out competing noise. Switching speakers is as easy as pointing the phone towards another person.
