Provides critical technical skills and knowledge to engineers in industries developing products and technologies in RF and antenna engineering. Topics include antenna operation, parameters, and limitations, including arrays, RF circuits, waveguide theory, familiarity with EM simulation approaches and limitations, and RF measurement equipment.

Boost RMI awareness and skills with four risk management courses online.

Designed for individuals beginning careers in software engineering and software development. This certificate requires a previous computer science or systems engineering degree. Students are expected to have a strong understanding of software development in terms of software construction, coding, and basic design.

Provides GES students with advanced training in sustainable urban agriculture by integrating university classroom study and field-based practicum conducted at the department's field research station. Students learn about the history of urban farming, the modern agro-food system, and sustainable urban agricultural practices.

Fulfills the increasing needs of educators seeking to broaden their content specialization and allows English master's candidates to specialize in an additional area of study. This does not grant state licensure but ensures competency for those already licensed, provides expertise documentation for those teaching in community colleges, and enables specialization for those with master's degrees in related fields.

Builds the necessary skills to teach adults English as a second language. The program is primarily aimed at native speakers of English who want to teach overseas, but it may also serve the needs of international students who want to teach English in their home country or other countries. Opportunities exist for internships at language schools.

Provides content-area teachers (math, science, social studies, etc.) with a foundation of teaching content for multilingual students. The certificate is also valuable to content-area coaches or administrators with a commitment to diversity and social justice, and who provide support for teachers with multilingual learners in K - 12 classrooms.

Designed to provide CU students and members of the public with specialized knowledge of the history, politics, literature, and social practices related to women's and gender concerns. Students must complete 12 credit hours of coursework to receive the certificate.

The Assistive Technology and Inclusive Engineering graduate certificate provides an in-depth introduction to the area of inclusive and assistive technologies for individuals aspiring to either work in the field of technology, disability, and/or aging into disability; and/or to sit for the national RESNA credentialing examination for one of two certifications to recognize assistive technology service providers who have met a national standard of job-based knowledge and experience.

The graduate certificate in medical device design and entrepreneurship includes nine credits of coursework and three credits of project work. Anyone who is interested in a graduate certificate is eligible to apply.
