It is a busy time of the semester, and I want to take a moment to recognize how hard you’ve been working. In a few weeks, you will have well-deserved time off during fall break, followed by winter break in December. I hope you have the opportunity to relax and recharge.

During the fall break, campus and academic buildings remain open, but the Auraria Library will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27. Hours for housing and dining operations will be adjusted to align with campus activity levels and are listed below. Please note that dining operations will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27, through Saturday, Nov. 29. The front desks in our on-campus student housing (City Heights Residence Hall and Lynx Crossing) will remain open on Friday, Nov. 28. I urge you to plan ahead given the changes.

The Lola & Rob Salazar Student Wellness Center will also have modified hours during fall break. Please visit the wellness center website for more details on hours and available services.

For the winter break, campus and academic buildings are closed from Dec. 24 through Jan. 2, though classes for the spring semester do not start until Jan. 20.
