Celebrating CU Denver Giving Day
Apr 2, 2026Dear Lynx community,
Today, our university comes together for one of the most meaningful days of the year: CU Denver Giving Day. It is a moment to reflect on who we are and to reaffirm our commitment to access, affordability, and student success.
Every member of our community plays a role in the success of our learners. Through your work, your care, and the many ways you show up for our students each day, you make a lasting impact and help advance the futures our learners are working to build.
Five students stand under CU Denver-branded flags at Larimer Square.

This year, Giving Day offers more than 30 funds in support of our students and their academic journeys. For those who feel inspired and are in a position to do so, you can contribute to a college or program you care deeply about, or invest in initiatives that serve students across our university, like the first-generation student success fund or the fund for Boots to Suits, a program that supports student veterans. You can also give to critical resources such as the food pantry fund or Loving Lynx emergency fund. There is truly something for everyone.
As I did last year, I’ve committed to supporting each of our funds and will personally match the first $350 given to each one. I’ve never served at an institution that cares so much for the success of its students. Their achievements are possible in part because our community consistently finds ways to support the programs and services that help our learners succeed.
If this resonates with you, please consider joining me and help #MakeItReal for CU Denver. I’ll #CUonGivingDay!
