About: Experts from Lewis-Burke Associates, a DC-based government relations firm that works closely the Research Development Office at University of Colorado Denver, will be on campus on Thursday, February 19 for a discussion on the current federal research and scholarship funding environment. The presentation, which will also be available virtually, will cover a range of federal agencies including the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of Education, Departments of Defense, Energy, Health and Human Services, and the National Endowments for the Humanities and the Arts, among others. Lewis-Burke staff welcome questions and will be available for follow-up discussions with faculty on potential grant opportunities. This is a good venue for interested faculty and graduate students to learn about the federal agency outlook and get your questions answered about current or future funding opportunities from our DC partners. Lewis-Burke experts will be available after the presentation and general Q&A for individual conversations from 10:30-11 am. This session is co-sponsored by the Center for Faculty Development and Advancement and the Research Development Office.
