🎉Congratulations to Benjama “Kwan” Witoonchart from CLAS - Department of Economics for getting a student Shout-Out! Way to go!🎉
Kwan was my professor at one of my graduate classes. It was a data analysis class, Saturdays from 10:30am to 3:30pm. During the week of Spring Break, when we were supposed to be taking a break, she told me to come in in case I had any questions. I did and we spent almost 5 hours learning and practicing until I had all the concepts clear. She explained 1-on-1 with so much effort and patience with me, and even though my score for the class was good, my highlight was the great effort and passion that she put into teaching me. I felt valued and honored to have such an excellent and human professor. It was a great time and she deserves to be recognized. My thought after that day was that even though I pay out-of-state tuition, every single dollar is so worth it with a great professor like she is.
