Conference for Assistive Technology in Education (CATE)

CATE 2026: June 4-5 

The Center for Innovative Design and Engineering (CIDE) and the Colorado Department of Education are proud to announce the 2026 Conference for Assistive Technology in Education (CATE). This 2-day virtual conference features sessions with nationally-renowned trainers addressing a wide variety of assistive technology topics related to the academic support needs of students with disabilities. 

Intended audience: Assistive Technology Specialists, Special Educators, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Reading Resource Teachers, Instructional Technology Teachers, UDL/RtI Coordinators, Administrators, Education Para-Professionals, Individuals with Disabilities, Parents, and Caregivers. 

Session recordings will be available for all registrants to view for 90 days following the conference.

College Credit

0.5 credit hours are available through Adams State University. To earn credit, participants will be required to:

  • Register with Adams State University by June 4, 2026.
  • Submit verification of 8 contact hours through Attendee hub by completing session evaluation surveys for all sessions attended.
  • Complete a written assignment that reflects careful application of the material and concepts learned during the conference as it applies to your environment of practice.
