The Center for Innovative Design and Engineering (CIDE), in partnership with the Colorado Department of Education, is proud to announce the upcoming 2026 Conference for Assistive Technology in Education. Conference registration and the full schedule of sessions are available now. Register before April 29, 2026, to secure early bird rates. Registration will close on May 21, 2026.
This two-day virtual conference supports educators, clinicians, families, and professionals who work with students with disabilities. The conference addresses a wide range of assistive technology topics focused on academic support and classroom success, and features sessions led by nationally renowned educators.
CATE provides a collaborative learning environment where participants gain practical strategies, explore emerging tools, and deepen their understanding of how AT can support student engagement, access to curriculum, and educational outcomes. Attendees will return to their schools and organizations with actionable knowledge they can apply immediately.
Flexible Learning Designed for Busy Professionals
To support learning beyond the live event, all registrants will have access to session recordings for 90 days following the conference. This allows participants to revisit key content, explore additional sessions, and share insights with colleagues—extending the value of the conference well after it concludes.
Through CATE, we continue our commitment to build knowledge, strengthen professional capacity, and advance effective assistive technology practices that support meaningful student participation and learning.
