Provides students with a strong foundation in the functional operations of the music industry by providing in-depth knowledge of music marketing, artist management, concert promotion and music publishing.
Music is a rapidly evolving field that requires practitioners to have broad understanding of the main functional areas and intimate knowledge of the creation and operation of music organizations– such as music publishing, marketing, artist management, concert promotion and talent buying, booking, new business models, the digital streaming ecosystem, legal issues, and royalty/financial analysis in an evolving and disruptive industry.
