Provides ample opportunities for computer science students to pursue state-of-the-art research and professional development in various interdisciplinary areas.

The master of science in computer science offers the following research areas of emphasis: algorithms, automata theory, artificial intelligence, big data management and mining, data science in biomedicine (MS degree track), communication networks, combinatorial geometry, computational geometry, computer architectures, computer graphics, distributed computing, high-performance computing, graph theory, Internet, operating systems, parallel processing, simulation, and software engineering. Students have three plan-of-study options: Plan 1 - Thesis, Plan 2 - MS Project and Plan 3 - Course only.
