The Learning Resources Center’s A-Sync program provides students with flexible, self-paced learning resources designed to reinforce course concepts outside of the classroom. Originally developed for genetics courses, these modules combine concise content reviews, guided activities, practice exercises, and summary materials that help students build foundational knowledge and strengthen their understanding of challenging topics. Students can engage with the resources at their own pace, making them an accessible option for course support, exam preparation, and independent study. As the A-Sync program expands, this same evidence-based approach to supplemental learning is being adapted for a broader range of subjects, helping students across disciplines access high-quality academic support whenever and wherever they need it.
