The Goal
The ARIAD team aims to cultivate a powerful collaborative network of academic experts, community stakeholders, and local, national, and international industry advisors and partners to address the grand challenge of aging and aging into disability facing our world today. Funding and research support is provided by CU Denver in order to
lay the foundation for building CU Denver’s reputation as a leader in research and creative work.

Dr. Biswas is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Colorado Denver. His primary research entails design and analysis of responsible machine learning and deep learning algorithms. As a naturally multi-disciplinary field, his research efforts span across diverse domains including bioinformatics, social networks, cybersecurity, education, and VLSI designs. Since he joined CU Denver, he has developed a machine learning laboratory (ML Lab, http://ml.cse.ucdenver.edu ) for conducting research with PhD and MS students and several academic and industry collaborators.
