Research Survey - A Comparison of Attitudes Toward Technology Privacy

Aug 11, 2021Take a 15-minute survey to let Center for Inclusive Design and Engineering Researchers know what your thoughts are about privacy and security! You don't need to already know anything about privacy, security, or data take this survey.
The objective of this survey is to capture attitudes toward "smart devices" in the home and their influence on privacy. Participants don't need to already know anything about smart devices to take this survey. Anyone can participate, regardless of disability status, abilities, or caretaker status. Survey participants must be over the age of 18.
Smart devices are interactive electronic devices that have potential to improve the quality of daily life for many individuals by automating challenging tasks. This convenience also comes with concerns about the loss of privacy for its users. This research explores whether this loss of privacy is being disproportionately felt by some user groups more than others.
