Jennie Szumski is the Sr. International Student Transition & Engagement Coordinator at the Office of International Affairs, University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus. Her passion for international education was sparked during her study abroad experience in Sevilla, Spain, in 2014. Prior to joining the university in 2022, Jennie taught English and Spanish in the United States and Spain, catering to students of various age groups.

At CU, Jennie's role focuses on facilitating a smooth transition for international students to the United States. She strives to foster intercultural relationships, support academic success, and provide insights into U.S. culture and customs. Jennie's expertise and dedication ensure that students feel supported and welcomed throughout their journey at the university.
