- A bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, business, higher education administration, social sciences, behavioral sciences, human resources, human relations, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- Six (6) years of professional experience managing employee benefits, employee hiring and onboarding, performance management, and/or HR records, or other related experience.
- Optional Substitution: Related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
- Master's degree or terminal degree in public administration, public policy, business, higher education administration, social sciences, behavioral sciences, human resources, or human relations from an accredited institution.
- Seven (7) years of professional experience managing employee benefits, employee hiring and onboarding, performance management, and/or HR records, or other related experience.
- Related professional experience as director, department supervisor, work leader, or staff authority
- Experience driving strategic HR operational initiatives
- Experience with human capital management systems (PeopleSoft, SalesForce, OnBase, an other similar systems)
- Knowledge of applicable local, Federal, and State laws, rules, and regulations.
