Boost sessions are held around the beginning of the semester to prepare students enrolled in traditionally difficult courses with added sessions occurring throughout the semester to keep students brushed up on concepts. Proven helpful for students who are taking courses that build on previous knowledge, Boost is an intensive program led by an Academic Guide that aims to refresh and bring students up-to-speed on core knowledge areas and important concepts before classes begin and even throughout the semester.

Explore Boost TWO ways... VIRTUAL or A-Sync

A-Sync BoostBoost Spring 2023 (1)

Epidemiology students can now access Boost in a four part, asynchronous (A-Sync) intensive course. Each part contains concepts that CU Denver professors have identified as being the ones students use the most or that tend to be more difficult. These parts have been designed to provide students with a good starting point for their PBHL 3001 course. Before or during the semester... brush up on your time and at your pace.

Enhance your understanding of key epidemiology course topics like the scientific method, 2x2 tables, fractions, study design, and other basic PBHL concepts. Select Parts 1 through 4 below.
