Resources for Students

The Institute for International Business sponsors the International Business Student Network and CIBERVets, and offers students opportunities to participate in business case competitions and internships that lead to full time employment.

Pathways to International Internships and Employment

The University of Colorado Denver’s Institute of International Business and International Business program provide a unique collaborative program opportunity to connect Business School students with Colorado companies seeking to enter or expand their international business footprint. The federally funded and nationally awarded CIBER program, Pathways to International Internships and Employment (PIIE), pairs internationally, professionally and academically experienced interns with CEOs to create, develop and/or complement strategically a firm’s global business opportunities. Students gain invaluable outcomes from their internships that incorporate entrepreneurial problem-based and experiential learning methodologies while providing first-hand know-how to companies including developing strategies for market entry and growth and analyzing business risk landscapes.
