Children, often referred to as minors, are individuals 17 years of age or younger.
Programs, events, and individuals working with minors on the CU Denver campus must meet specific safety, training, and registration requirements before minors may participate on campus. A program for children is a campus program operated exclusively or primarily for Children left in campus care without parent or guardian supervision and that requires registration.
This site provides a clear, step-by-step overview of what is required to comply with the Child Protection Policy (Policy 3001D) (new policy to be added here), including program registration, required trainings, background checks, emergency planning, and health and supervision expectations.
