  AcessibilityChecker.org is a free, browser based tool which will evaluate a page for accessibility compliance.
• WAVE tool is browser plugin that will run automatic accessibility evaluations of individual pages.
• Headings Map is a plugin that will bring up a side panel showing all of the headings present on a page, this tool makes it easy to identify heading order and structure.
• taba11y is a Chrome plugin that runs a check on the tab order and provides a visual indication of the tab flow. Manual testing is still important, but this tool is a great way to get a quick overview of the tab order of a page.

These are some of the most popular and easy to use resources, however W3C offers an even more extensive list of tools for accessibility evaluation.

Screen Readers

• NVDA is a free downloadable screen reader for Windows Operating Systems.
• VoiceOver is a built in screen reader available on all apple devices. It can be enabled by pressing the Command + F5 keys on a Mac.
• iPhone devices have several built in accessibility tools including VoiceOver for screen reading.
• TalkBack is the built in screen reader for Android devices.
• ChromeVox is Google's screen reader that ships with Chrome OS. It is also available as an extension for the Chrome web browser.

Color Content Analyzers

• WebAIM has an in-browser contrast checker.
• a11y offers another browser based content analyzer, including the option to test an entire page.
• TPGi - we have a dedicated page with a download and instructions for using this tool.
• Colorsafe is a browser based tool that can help you come up with an accessible palette of colors based on the colors you want to use.
• Accessible Color Palette Builder is another browser based tool that can assist in building an accessible color palette.

• WCAG or Web Content Accessibility Guidelines cover a wide range of recommendations for making web content accessible. These guidelines are the go to standard for web based accessibility.
• WebAIM (Web Accessibility In Mind) is a site dedicated to web accessibility and has an abundance of articles, resources and guides to help make web content accessible.
• a11yproject is another excellent site dedicated to website accessibility and features many articles, tools, guides and resources all dedicated to accessibility.
• SiteImprove offers a comprehensive archive of videos dedicated to accessibility topics.
