Admissions Requirements

We welcome applications from elementary teachers who have a strong interest in bringing hands-on math learning to their students. We also accept applications from middle and high school teachers who would like to add an elementary endorsement with a strong math focus.

Classes are scheduled to fit around your professional hours.

We recommend that working teachers take no more than one course per semester during the school year, and up to two courses in the summer. In general, you should not take more than two courses in any given semester.

The TEACH club is a student organization on the CU Denver campus that welcomes all students, both at the undergraduate and graduate level, who are interested in becoming educators. The club provides opportunities to build friendships with other future educators who will soon be your colleagues, explore topics of interest to future teachers, engage in service projects with children and youth, and to network with K-12 and university faculty who care deeply about the future of teaching!
